9 Days of pure wildlife experience in Kenya’s most popular game parks. This safari is immersive and a bit tiring due to a busy schedule and the distance of parks from each other. There is, however, an option for a flight.
You will visit Samburu national park for the Samburu special five, Lake Nakuru for rhinos and birds, Masai Mara for big cats then Amboseli for Majestic creatures; Elephants. Welcome and experience wildlife in its raw form at their natural habitat.

8 Days Wildlife Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
- Arrive in Nairobi and drive to Samburu National Reserve, which takes around 5-6 hours.
- Enjoy a game drive in the afternoon, and look out for the “Samburu Special Five” – the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk antelope.
Day 2: Samburu
- Spend the day exploring Samburu National Reserve, and go for an early morning game drive followed by a guided nature walk in the afternoon.
- Visit a local Samburu village to learn about their culture and way of life.
Day 3: Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park
- After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, which takes around 4-5 hours.
- Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, which is known for its large population of flamingos and other birdlife, as well as its rhinos and lions.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
- Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, which takes around 5-6 hours.
- Have lunch at your lodge or camp and enjoy a game drive in the afternoon.
Day 5-6: Masai Mara
- Spend the next two days exploring Masai Mara National Reserve, which is home to an abundance of wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and more.
- Go for an early morning game drive each day, and take a guided walking safari or hot air balloon ride for a unique perspective of the park.
Day 7: Masai Mara to Amboseli National Park
- After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge or camp, and arrive in time for a late lunch.
Day 8: Amboseli to Nairobi
- Go for an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, and then return to your lodge or camp for breakfast.
- Depart for Nairobi after breakfast, which takes around 4-5 hours, and arrive in the city in the afternoon
